What Are Quilters Blogging About Today?

Very pretty, but it would be pretty time consuming to do the applique!

My favourite today is the second design, but it would also take a lot of time to make.

Pretty and purple designs today, but still flowery like yesterday’s designs.

Like yesterday, I cannot pick a favourite as I love them both, but I think I would enjoy making yesterday’s designs more than todays … cutting all those petals would drive me insane!.

I love to see a fair bit of quilting, but too much complex quilting detracts from the pieced and applique work which goes into making a quilt. The first design has quilting motifs based on the applique blocks, but maybe a little bit of space for cross hatching or just parallel lines would look better.

Another new floral collection in my Mum’s favourite colours. I learned to love Mum’s favourite colour while working on a quilt for her in her requested colour.

A slight change in the arrangement of blocks, and a bit of quilting!
